Here is a very nice early 19th century cut and paste silhouette attributed to C. L. Barber  circa 1820) of a    child in a gold gilded period wooden frame. Barber was like Edouart, he  cut two silhouettes at once, one    for the sitter and one for his record book. There is a  piece of paper telling about Barber that came with       the silhouette years ago when I purchased it. It is very finely cut with wonderful soft edges. No tears. It is    5 by 3 3/8". Child silhouettes are rare, this one is very nice

This is a wonderful double or marriage hollowcut silhouettes of  G. Kearver and  Dorothy Kearver dated 1827 (The names are written in old script and I am  guessing at the spelling). The gentleman has beautiful pen and pencil  highlights, and Dorothy has her hair in highlights. They are backed with old black silk fabric. The frame is just as spectacular as the silhouettes. It is a single hand carved piece of Tiger Maple with chamfered inside edges. Here is a very nice and very collectable 19th century hollowcut silhouette of a man done by Martha Honeywell. What makes her silhouttes so unique is that Martha was born without and arms or hands, and only a few toes on her feet. She cut her silhouettes with the scissors being held in her mouth. She signed all her silhouettes with different varations of "Cut with the mouth by M. A. Honeywell". The male are much harder to find then the female. It is in wonderful condition in a period wooden frame. It measures 5" by 4"

This is a GREAT piece of American folk art, a full size carved wooden marine/dock cleat in it's original paint. There is some iron hardware on either end that leads me to believe that it maybe was a sign for "Pugh Construction". On the front is painted PUGH CONST. On the back it had "Pugh Construction, 42' cleat". It is 47" long, 20" wide and 12" high. In great condition, with almost all of its original paint. It came out of a retired District Court Judge's home in the Hartford area. It's uses are unlimited, put brackets on the top of it with a glass top and you have a wonderful coffee table.
